Philadelphia Film Fest – Let the Fun Begin!

It’s that time of year again—film fest time.  This weekend the 17th Philadelphia Film Festival will be well under way.  The film fest is one of my favorite Philadelphia traditions that I’ve enjoyed attending for the past 3 years.  I love the the fact that many of these films may never be able to be seen again. Many of the screenings are a true artistic experience that can only be experienced (for better or worse) at this event and a handful of other festivals before possibly dissapearing for good.

This year, I have the opportunity to see more films than ever and I’m going to blog about each of them over the next few weeks.  If you’re reading the reviews and read the posts, I’d love to hear your thoughts.  My favorite part about film is that it can ignite some great discussion no matter how good or bad the film may be.

Join the fun…Check out the films I’ll be seeing: Eleven Minutes, Join Us, Lovely by Surprise, Phoebe in Wonderland, Empties, What We do is Secret, and Then She Found Me.

  1. Matthew,
I’m in awe that you got this off the ground. Your blog totally blows Johnn Mayers out of the water. And the graphics of course are superb!
Such an inspiration to get cracking on mine.
